It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Rose Olmsted (Greenville, Michigan), born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on December 29, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Floyd Trombley and Nellie Trombley (Vissner); her spouse Eugene "Gene" Olmsted; her children, Tom Olmsted (Mary) of Cadillac, Lynda Avery (Jayman) of Illinois, Dan Olmsted (Barbara) of Gowen, John Olmsted (Judy) of Belding and Janice Hoekstra of Byron Center; and her sister Irene Willison of Grandville. She was also cherished by 18 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association or the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired.
