He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Gerhart Tetzlaff and Lurlie Adkins Tetzlaff. He is survived by: his wife Brooke Brown Tetzlaff; his son Bryan Scott Wayne Tetzlaff; his brother-in-law Brian Brown (Becki); his nephews, Braydon Brown (Mandy) and Barak Brown; and his cousins, Charlotte Hoekstra (Ken), Shelly Hilliker (Dennis), Garth Tetzlaff (Judy), Amanda Hewitt, Kristian Essenberg, Tabitha Opdycke, Jordyn Hoffmaster, Nathan Hoekstra, Kyle Hoekstra, Wayne Hoekstra (Patty), Kraig Hoekstra (Lisa), Sherri Banas (Joe), Ken Jr. Hoekstra (Dawn) and Kevin Hoekstra.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Roth-Gerst Funeral Home (305 N Hudson St SE, Lowell, MI 49331). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
