He is survived by: his spouse Carmen; his children, Dan Hilliker, Ron Merritt Jr., Dennis Hilliker (Michele), Dawn Long (Bill) and Timothy Merritt; his grandchildren, Andrew Hilliker (Kayla), Aaron Hilliker, Emily Hilliker (Luke), Jackquelyn Hilliker (Peter), Stephen Hilliker (Danielle), William Long and Alex Long; his great grandchild Rory Hilliker; and his sister Shirley Kloet.
