He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Raymond Reister and Pauline Reister (Buhrer); his wife Patricia Ward; his sister Paula Ritz; his children, Ronda Conners (Bill) of Florida, Michael Reister of Irons and Jon Reister (Reca) of Cadillac; his grandchildren, Jennifer Patterson (Luke), Joshuwa Myers, Kristen Garrett (Nate), Courtney, Patrick, Brendan Conners, Billy Conners and Elizabeth Pietrzyk (Brian); his siblings, Wayne Reister (Janet), David Reister and Linda Sowerby (Richard); his brother-in-law Daryl Ritz; and his close friend Sonja Reed. He was also cherished by six great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be given to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church or the Munson Manor Hospitality House.
