It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Gene Higgins (Greenville, Michigan), born in Sac City, Iowa, who passed away on October 27, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Higgins and Sylvia Higgins (Hawkins); his wife Shirley Higgins (Bundt); his children, Sandy Auen, Susan Blum and Richard Higgins; and his brother Harold Higgins.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Amber (Auen), Mike Auen, Kristi Terpstra (Auen), Erica (Morris), Tanner Morris, Brandi Blum, Nicole Blum, Stephanie Blum, Britney (Petersen) and Alec Petersen; and his great grandchildren, Jordan Degner, Jaelyn Degner, Jenna Degner, Cooper Auen, Carson Auen, Malia Auen, Jude Janes, Crew Janes, George Davis, Emma Hardin and Paityn Hardin.
