He was predeceased by: his parents, Lelan R. Steele and Irene B. Steele (VanCamp); his grandson Bradley Wernette; and his brother Roland Steele. He is survived by: his children, Eric Steele (Weslie) of Woodbine, Georgia, Lisa Vansconis (Will) of Greenville and Millie Finch (Tim) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Ellie, Rylie, Chase, Carolyn, John, Chris and Elizabeth; his great grandchildren, Leo, Devin, Kennedy, Connor, Lucus and Mason; and his great great grandchild Bradley.
Memorial contributions can be made in Richard's name to the Moose Lodge.
