He was predeceased by: his parents, Susan II and Ray J. Tower II; and also Prudence. He is survived by: his sister Prudence; his wife Janet Lynne Courly; his children, Cap, Jan and Douglas Tower (Kelly); his grandsons, Evan and Dylan; his daughter Holly (Jarrod Koch); his grandchildren, Cameron, Aiden and Jordyn; his siblings, Helen Shupe (Jeff), John Tower, Phil Tower (Diane) and Maria Tower; and his cousins, Bill Ham (Peggy) and Fran Gibbs (Don). He is also survived by many other cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Parish Nurse Fund at the First Congregational Church in Greenville, or to the Alzheimer's Association.
