She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Kenneth Goodwin and Margery Goodwin (Van Vlerah); her husband Louis Verne Russell; her brother Gordon; her sister-in-law Diane Goodwin; her children, Sharon Johnson (Richard) of Cedar Springs, Janice Helsel of Gowen, Ruth Gravelle (Mike) of Greenville, Louis Russell, Jr. (Christy) of Greenville, Dawn Scharaswak (Victor) of Sheridan and Steve Russell of Sheridan; her siblings, Helen Nielsen (Delos) of Gowen, Linda Varney (Russell) of Greenville, Floyd Goodwin (Vicki) of Ionia and Jerry Goodwin (Marlene) of Midland; and her sister-in-law Betty Russell of Gowen. She was also cherished by 23 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
