He was predeceased by: his former wife Dianne; his son Bruce; and his brothers, Roger Lane and Kenny Lane. He is survived by: his parents, Leroy Lane and Ferne Lane (Rogers); his former wife Betty; his children, Ronald Helms, Vicki Goss, Richard Helms, Michael Helms and Karen Corey; and his siblings, Gordon Lane, Herman McConnell and Diane Windquist. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
