It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Orville Eugene Cooper of Greenville, Michigan, born in Reed City, Michigan, who passed away on February 26, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Cooper and Faye Cooper; his brothers, Gordon and Paul Cooper; his siblings-in-law, Donald Tyson and Betty Cooper; and his stepsons, Steven, Michael and Robin Gunderson.
He is survived by: his wife Janette Hall Cooper (Gunderson); his children, Debra Cooper Smith, Donald Cooper (Lori) and Deanna Cooper Edwards; his stepson Rick Gunderson (Linda); and his sister Colleen Cooper Tyson. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions can be made to either of Orville's home churches or to the American Cancer Society.
