He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvin J. Ball and Rita B. Ball (Sayles). He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his son Jeremy (Kaisee); his grandson Brady of Davison; his brothers, Monte (Linda) of New Philadelphia, OH, Lloyd of Morley, MI and Bruce of Ann Arbor; his niece Morgan Donegan; and his brother-in-law Bill Corey.

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Greenville Church of The Nazarene.
