He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Merritt A. Brandt and Sarah Brandt (Smith); his wife Linda Fallis; his sons, Todd Brandt (Laurie) and Jon Brandt (Nikki); his grandchildren, Evann Mcumber (Rob), Haylee Silver (Duanne), Taylor Brandt and Spencer Brandt; his great grandchildren, Maddison, Kailynn and Jackson; and his siblings, Arthur Brandt (Peggy), Betty Briggs (Roger), Leroy Brandt (Patti), Virginia Winchel and Audrey Smith. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Greenville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
