He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dennis A. Guernsey and Arvilla J. Guernsey (Minard); his sons, Dennis (Beth), Wayne (Martha) and Jerry Guernsey (Beverly); his siblings-in-law, Irma Knochel, Dave and Fred Wait; and his siblings, Lloyd, Donald and Audrey Bradley (Irv). He was also cherished by 10 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be given to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Spectrum Health Hospice or Gideons International.
