She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Arthur and Eloise Fay Whiters (Derby); her former husbands, Charles H. "Chuck" Wolverton and Leo "Red" Merritt; her sisters, Georgia Smith, Margaret Whiters and Kathryn Whiters; and her stepdaughter Sandy Tobey.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff Wolverton (Celeste) of Middleville, Kathryn Fisk (Tom) of Gowen and Vicki Arntz (Mike) of Greenville; her grandchildren, Lisa Brown (Rex), Shelly Wolverton, Erin Bollman (Ryan), Chad Arntz (Dora Bussey), Andrew Arntz (Molly Jo), Molly Burnett (Ryan), Shayne Ward (Julie), Steve Ward (Stacy) and Katie Persons; her stepsons, Greg Merritt (Kathy) and Doug Merritt; and her pet Molly. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
