She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Kenneth Pakes and Mary Pakes (Salisbury); her brother Lamont Pakes; her brothers-in-law, Thomas Brown (Doris) and Ron Brown; her children, Kathy Van Hoose (Steve), James Brown and Michael Brown (Lisa); her grandchildren, Cara Brown (Tony), Sara Andrews (Kevin), Josh Van Hoose (Starr), Meagan Brown, Zach Brown (Micah) and Kevin Brown (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Frankie, Ava, Lainey, Evan, Bailey and Charley; her sister Pat Cumberworth (Marvin); and her sisters-in-law, Delores Pakes and Lucina Brown. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be given to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
