With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Andersen of Greenville, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on December 12, 2021 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Soren Andersen and Dorothy Andersen (Dugal); her brother John Andersen; and her sister-in-law Donna Snopel. She is survived by: her sons, Joshua Matzen (Valerie) of Stanton and Joseph Matzen of Ann Arbor; her granddaughters, Harper Simmons and Etta Matzen; her siblings, Margaret Andersen of Grand Rapids, Barbara Hackett (Christopher) of Walker, William Andersen of Byron Center and Thomas Andersen of Kentwood; and her grandchildren, Isaac, Betty Harriman, Rose Shatz-Barber, Pilot, Westley Damstra, Morgan, Anah, Isabella and Adyleenah Shatz-Muzzaffar.
Memorial donations can be made to White Pine Library, Heartland Hospice, or St. Charles School in Greenville.
