He was predeceased by: his parents, Petra Cardenas, (Villareal) and Margarito Cardenas, Sr.; and his siblings, Beto Luis Flores and Faustina Faz. He is survived by: his wife Maria Cardenas of Grand Rapids; his daughters, Linda (Leo Pina), Yolanda (Joe Fuentes) and Diana Cardenas of Grand Rapids; his grandchildren, Rosalinda Pina, Roberto "Donk" Pina, Alexandria Fuentes (Daveon), Brandon Fuentes (Autumn), Victoria Fuentes, Josie Fuentes (Cole), Ignacio Morin (Kiana), Sergio Morin and Yliana Morin; his great grandchildren, Saige, Sebastian, Sterling, Sway, Avianna, Zuko, Ignacio Jr., Maximus and Liliana; and his siblings, Pete Cardenas and Gloria Barrera (Miguel). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Instead of flowers, contributions in memory of Mike may be directed to Spectrum Health Hospice.
