He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Chancey "Zeb" and Verna Amelia House (Hill); his wife Carol House; his brother Paul House; his siblings-in-law, Beverly House and Art Lambertson; his nephew Art Lambertson, Jr.; his niece Delene Cramer; his great-niece Kimberly McMeeken; and his close friend Diane Linton.
He is survived by: his children, Ann Marie Cotton-Vissers (House), John Eric, Pamela House of Cedar Springs, Timothy Allen and Lora House of Lowell; and his sister Virginia Lambertson of Newaygo. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
