It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lloyd Gayle Stearns of Greenville, Michigan, born in Sheridan, Michigan, who passed away on October 6, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Stearns and Emma Stearns (Greenhoe); his wife Maxine Stearns; his children, Wayne Stearns, Gary Stearns and Kathryn Stearns; his brothers, Wilber Stearns (Lois), Donald Stearns (Phyllis) and Arnold Stearns (Betty); and his siblings-in-law, Lawrence Helms, Robert Helms (Roberta), Joyce Helms and Ruby Morris (Wilmer).

He is survived by: his son James Stearns; his brother Barry Stearns (Nancy); and his sister-in-law Marie Wagner. He is also survived by six grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 6 great- great grandchildren.
