She is survived by: her brothers, Bob, Ralph, Ray and Neil; her husband Ben Chapman; her stepchildren, Lis Lacey, Sue Brown, Cyndie Maack, Judy Doyle and Ben Chapman IV; her cousin East; and her children, Rick Monsma, Scott Monsma and Deborah Marxhausen. She is also survived by many relatives and friends.

She started a pilot program of respite for Alzheimer's caregivers at Montcalm Commission on Aging.
