She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Ruge and Lelia Ruge (Bean); her parents-in-law, Floyd and Alma Olmstead (Perry); her siblings, Louis Ruge, Jr., Lyle Ruge and Lillian Ruth; her brother-in-law Lloyd "Baldy" Olmstead; and her grandson Ryan Olmstead.
She is survived by: her spouse John Olmstead; her sons, Neal of Pierson, Mark of Stanton and Mike of Stanton; her grandchildren, Carrie Eyer (Greg), Chanda Olmstead (Erik Engle), John Olmstead (Robin) and Wade Patterson; her great grandchildren, Paige Hansen (Tyler Polovino), Logan Hansen, Addalyn Olmstead, Blake Olmstead, Avery Olmstead and Matheson Eyer; her great great grandchild Brodie Polovino; her siblings, Layton Ruge (June) and Linda Shavalier; and her sisters-in-law, Helen Bannen, Jean Nielsen (Rit) and Anna Linebaugh. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
