He was predeceased by: his parents, Odel Jones and Dolly Jones (King); his wife Betty; his son Mathew; his aunts, Nellie and Mae; and his siblings, Tom, Glendo, Harold, Wilford, Irvin, William, Frances "Ratsy" and Patricia "Pert".
He is survived by: his children, Vanessa Marr (James) of Greenville, Deb Rohn (Dan) of Belding and Mark Jones of Greenville; his grandchildren, Jessica Marr, James Marr (Erin), Derica Jovet (Egnis), Chasity Lewis and Chance Jones; his great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Eden, Tristin, Alec, Jadon, Quentin and Ty; and his siblings, Linda, Pearl, Mildred, Shirly, Roger, Bobby and Earl.
