He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Dyer and Ora Dyer (Dopp); his wife Dolores Otto (Vernon Johnson); and his siblings, Laverne Brownridge (Lyle), Ruth Britton (Willard), Ivan Dyer (Audrey), Kenneth Dyer (Kay) and Lee Dyer (Beth).
He is survived by: his children, Lawrence "Ike" Dyer (Ronda) of Greenville, Denise Wensink (Glen Giesken) of Big Rapids, Lorna Merrifield (Douglas) of Sidney, Luci Dyer of Greenville and Neal Dyer (Gerylnn Renne) of Big Rapids. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
