He is survived by: his son David Shank; his grandchildren, Heather Curtis (Brad), Eric LaPaugh (Marny), Stephanie Cole (Will), Christina Phoenix and Jesse Borch; and his close friends, Clyde and Jayne McAllister. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
