With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Edward Franklin Durfee of Greenville, Michigan, born in Ferndale, Michigan, who passed away on September 1, 2024 at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his mother Gertrude W Durfee; and his siblings, Charlotte Morris, Karen Durfee and Duane Durfee. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Gerald "Jerry" G Durfee (Stacy) of Belmont and Jennifer Peterman (Durfee) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Brayden, Trevor, Kyle Durfee, Kayla and Carlie Peterman; and his sisters, Dorine Bice, Susan Durfee and Penny Pifer. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and innumerable dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his honor may be given to the Alzheimer's Association for research and eventual cure of Lewy Body Dementia.
