He was predeceased by: his parents, Rowland Alyea and Aletha Alyea (Torrance). He is survived by: his close friend Donna DeVries of Greenville; his son Daniel Alyea of Makanda, Illinois; his stepson Gary Alyea-Jamrock of Grand Rapids; and his siblings, Michelle Schreiber, Gordon Alyea and Raymond Alyea. He is also survived by three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
