He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Hansen and Eileen Dorothy Hansen (Richardson); his wife Mary Louise Hansen (Mulick); his brother-in-law Ed Mulick; and his son-in-law James Chaffin.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Chaffin of Greenville and Brian Hansen of Saranac; his stepchildren, Eva, Randy Cairns, Kenneth and Joanne Cogswell; and his siblings-in-law, Paula, Mike Grinwis, Garry and Mary Louise Mulick. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren.
