He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frederick Zomerhuis and Bernice Zomerhuis (Henken); his wife Helen Louise Riekse; his grandson Ethan Imhoff; his siblings, Lois Carlson and Robert Zomerhuis (Betty); his children, Sherry Zomerhuis, Judy Zomerhuis and James Zomerhuis (Susan); his grandchildren, Marie OKones (Jake), Max Imhoff, Amber Gauthier (Alex), Ariana Imhoff and Elise Imhoff; his great grandchildren, Hunter, Scarlett, Calvin, Grant OKones and Jackson Gauthier; and his brother-in-law Martin Riekse (Judy). He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and old and new friends.
