He is survived by: his significant other Mary Cook of Ada; his children, Jacob Verspoor of Grand Rapids and Julie Verspoor of Belding; his grandchildren, Trent Verspoor of Grand Rapids and Harley Watkins of Belding; his sister Marsha Wilcox of Lowell; his niece Lynn (Wilcox); his nephews, Mark (Kim Wilcox) and Paul (Amy Wilcox); and his friend Jim VanderPloeg. He is also survived by three great nieces and two great nephews; three great-great nieces.
