He is survived by: his wife Marie; his son Chad Starling (Ana) of Texas; his stepchildren, Kate Read (Joe Vance) of Ionia and Adam Kerns (Sue) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Charles, Stephanie, Scott "Scooter" Mullinix, John Tyler, Lexi Read, Syerrah Vance, Kira Hamilton, Cade, Grayson and Leo Starling; his great grandchildren, Madison, Lucy, Eli and Dennis; and his siblings, Mack Starling (Latrelle) of Florida and Essalene Fischer (Rick) of Florida.
