He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus Ortiz and Jovita Ortiz (Cornego); and his siblings, John, Joe Ortiz and Rocki Harris.
He is survived by: his former wife Christine Ortiz of Greenville; his children, Fabian Ortiz (Jennifer) of Greenville, Shannon Anton (Tom) of Fruitport and Karen Clark (Rob) of Lakeview; his grandchildren, Chloe Ortiz (Jake) of Greenville and Adrian Anton of Fruitport; his stepgrandsons, Nathan and Matthew Anton of Fruitport; and his siblings, Margaret Judy Davis of Greenville, Jesse Ortiz of Grand Rapids, Dick Ortiz of Greenville and JoAnne Abbott (Eddie) of Baldwin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
