He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Stephens and Bernice Stephens (Finkler); his sister Marie; his brother-in-law Rich Worpel; and his mother-in-law Eileen Ferguson.
He is survived by: his wife Sally; his children, Christine Krieger (Scott) of Grand Rapids, Kathryn Barr of Scottsdale, Michael Stephens (Catrice) of Lakeview, Amy Lynn Collins (Brian) of Caledonia and Ryan Flynn (Beth) of Walker; his grandchildren, Scot (Drew Stephens), Emily Wright, Grace, Maddy (Nolan Flynn), Cody Alverez, Garrett (Parker Barr), Alex LaFemina and Paige (Casey Collins); his great grandchildren, Rose and Ashton; his siblings, Patricia Reams (Russ) of Walker, Marilyn Pearce (Tom), Sandy Worpel of Conklin and James Stephens (Jeanne) of Rockford; and his father-in-law Richard "Fergie" Ferguson.
Memorial contributions in Charlie's name can be made to St. Charles Catholic School or Hospice of Michigan.
