He was predeceased by: his father Edward Buckley, Sr.; and his grandparents, Don and Vera VanAllen. He is survived by: his mother Julie Buckley of Stanton; his siblings, Ann Baty (Greg) of South Carolina, James VanAllen of Stanton, Robert Wellman of Greenville and Eddie Buckley (Ruth) of Texas; and his significant other Pamela Drew. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
