He is survived by: his sister Sheila "Lynn" Bentley (Billy); his nieces, Melissa Pastula, Connie Prestwood (Audie) of Huntersville, Lincolnton of Charlotte, NC, Kendall Cherry of Charlotte, NC and Abby Cherry of Charlotte, NC; his nephew Billy Lamar Cherry III of Greenville, Michigan.; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Rhilynn Faith, T. J., Connor of Wyatt, D. J., Bentley and Waylon; and also, Aaralyn, Autumn and Connor.
