She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Swanger and Genevieve Swanger (Moore); her husband Raymond Doty; her sister Elizabeth Strecker; and her daughters-in-law, Cynthia Doty and Linda Doty.

She is survived by: her children, Byron (Mary Ann) of Venice, FL, Michael of Belding, Monte (Ellen) of Springhill, FL, Brenda (Jerry) of Belding and Rae Lynn (Gary) of Greenville; her grandchildren, Sue Ottobre, Brent Doty, Tomi Parsons, Michelle Deal, Lisa Doty, Kim Salter, Sara Chapin, Kaci VandenToorn, Abbey Antcliff and Christine Doty; and her sister Edna Roberts of Greenville. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Memorial contributions may be given to Corewell Health Greenville Rehab and Nursing Center Activities or First Church of God in Greenville.
