He is survived by: his mother Shelly Brooks (Carlson); his wife Samantha (Gilbert); his son Jack; his siblings, Heather Huntoon (Darrrell), Ashley Whalen (Aaron) and David Ducat (Rachel); his grandmother Nancy Carlson; his nieces and nephews, Meg Huntoon, Leah Whalen, Mariano Ducat, Isabelle and Lily Whalen; his parents-in-law, Jack and Sally Gilbert; and his brothers-in-law, Jake Gilbert and Bradley Gilbert (Kali).
Memorial contributions may be made to an educational fund for his sons.
