It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Aletha Betty Jane Ward of Greenville, Michigan, born in Belding, Michigan, who passed away on December 28, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Rich and Pearl Rich (Bradshaw); her husband Milton F. Ward; and her siblings, Ivah Loomans, Anna Rhodes, Dee Palethorpe, Evah Edwards, Leslie "Bud" Rich and Leah Palethorpe.
She is survived by: her children, Tina, John Byers, Robin and Dale Hartway; her grandchildren, Heidi Pollock, Angie Bratty (Rob), Kristi Jewell (Gilbert) and Derek Byers (Tina); her great grandchildren, Kyle, Kory, Kyla, Kinzi and Elizabeth; and her great great grandchildren, Aleena Grace, Luka and Briggs.
A private service will be held at her church with family only present due to Covid concerns and a burial will follow at Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding.
