He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Painter and Verda Painter (Adkins); his daughter Tina Painter; and his siblings, Esther Burnett, Norma Lemaster, Russell Painter, Fred Painter, Chester Painter, Robert Painter and John Painter.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Painter; his children, Patricia Snider, Jolene Pembrook, Sherry Painter, Terry Francis, Connie Bartley and Shana Perkins; his grandson Jesse Blankenship; and his close friends, Darryl Babbitt, Val Serna, Scott Lafferty, Bob Stepp, Bill Paxton Jr., Dave Helton, Rena Hollon and Rex Alma. He is also survived by 13 other grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
