It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William George Rutter of Grayling, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on January 26, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Rutter and Ruth Rutter (Rolfe); his brother Ron Rutter; and his stepdaughters, Melissa Blevins and Christy Zahn.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Fisher of Grayling; his sons, Mark Rutter of Grayling and Jason Rutter of Oregon; his grandsons, Eric Rutter, Gavin Fisher, Damian, Dylan Zahn and Vincent McKee; and his sister Gayle Mertz of Flint.
