He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Grooters (Haskins) and John Grooters; and his sisters, Dorothy (Lynn Spencer), Marjorie (Mike Petruska), Marion (Don Turnbull), Carol (Jim McFeely) and Shirley.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Ed Dykstra. He is also survived by many friends, especially his neighbors.
