She was predeceased by: her parents, Bryan Newell and Hilda Newell (Foor); her husband Sylvester Hose, Jr.; and her significant other Ted McKee. She is survived by: her children, Kevin Korhonen of Frederic, Kerry Korhonen of Houghton Lake and Karyn Howe (Michael) of Frederic; her stepchildren, Martha Hauch (Allen) of Houghton Lake, Steaven Hose (Mary Ann) of Houghton Lake, Doris Korte (Gary) of Novi and Dawn Messenger of Alabama; her grandchildren, Jamie, Hailey, David, Kerry, Korey, Troy, Taryn, Stephanie, Denise, Blaine, Deann, Amanda, Meghan, Ashley, Audra, Melissa, Chad and Matthew; and her great great grandchildren, Lux and Juliette. She is also survived by 36 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Grayling Eagles (602 Huron St, Grayling, MI 49738).
