She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Houk and Hazel Houk (McQuillen); her former husband James L Pickell; and her husband Donald Palmer. She is survived by: her sons, Anthony Pickell (Gail) and James Pickell (Angela) of Grayling, MI; her grandchildren, Nathan Pickell (Eva) and Jessica Pickell; her stepgrandchildren, Ashley Hoath and Areka Maki; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Hadley and Axel Maki; and her close friend Renate Harwood.
