He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Strouse and Mildred Strouse (Langworthy); his former wife Marliyn Strouse; his daughter Sue Hagle; and his siblings, Larry, Willis and Katherine.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Fort; his children, Sheryl Beck (Clifford) of Grayling, Marc Strouse (Vickie) of Belgrade, Montana, Kendal Strouse (Teresa Baker) of Grayling, Philip Strouse of Grayling, Dawn Strouse of Sorento and Maria Phillips (Roy Wood) of Gaylord; and his siblings, Margaret, Carl, Helen, Phyllis and Mike. He is also survived by grandchildren; 20+ great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Grayling Free Methodist Church (6352 W M-72 Hwy, Grayling, MI 49738). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Harold to Munson Hospice and/or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
