He was predeceased by: his parents, Weldon Jack and Juliene Pettyjohn (Swanquist); his brother Gary Pettyjohn; and his siblings-in-law, Irene Pettyjohn and Floyd Millikin.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ben Pettyjohn, Kirby Pettyjohn and Robin Kleihege; and his sister-in-law Donna Pettyjohn of St. Helen, MI.. He is also survived by 15 nieces & nephews and 31 great nieces & nephews.
