He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Gauthier; his children, Dale Gauthier, Jr. (Charlene), Kathy Sindle (Jeff), Debbie Schupp (Kent) and Heide Miller; his grandchildren, Morgan, Amanda, Krysta, Nicole, Cara and Jon; his great grandchildren, Breckon, Brooks, Bryn, Vivian, Carson, Kip, Grayson, Kaylee, Lucy and Harry; his siblings, Harvey Gauthier and Jan Gauthier; and his daughter-in-law Carol A. Szumanski. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
