He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Mathews (Bauml); his children, Casha Sizemore (Larry) of Traverse City, MI, Devon Mathews, Cameron Mathews of Grawn, MI and Lexie Mathews (Evan Kinder) of Kalkaska, MI; his grandson Bryson Mathews of Traverse City, MI; his brother Michael Mathews; his nephew Noah Mathews of Owensboro, KY; and his in-laws, Sandi and Jim Clark of Interlochen, MI.. He is also survived by his four children and grandchild.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home (305 Sixth St, Traverse City, MI 49684). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
