He was predeceased by: his parents, Helmer Daniel and Etta Martha Loney (Jensen); and his siblings, Lucy, Daniel, Patricia, Orman and Ellen.
He is survived by: his wife Caroline Mary Rogers; his children, Virginia Wisniewski (Douglas), Suzanne Kiley (Ken), Carol Reiss, Michael Loney (Reba) and Steven Loney (Merrill Smith); his grandchildren, Megan Rumbach (Blake), Amanda Loney, Jackson Loney, Josh Loney, Michael Summers, Nicholas Summers (Laura), Julane Spencer (Brad) and Matt Wiggins; his great grandchildren, Mary Summers, Daniel and Kari Rumbach; his brother Alfred Loney (Susie); and his sister-in-law Christine Loney. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home (305 Sixth St, Traverse City, MI 49684). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Blair Township Ambulance Fund.
