He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Fred Edge and B. Alice Edge (Cochran); his brother Freddy (Barbara Edge); his brother-in-law Andy Jones; and his pet Roxi.
He is survived by: his son David Jacob; his wife Patricia (Maule); his son Cristopher; and his siblings, Jim (Joan Edge) and Alice Jones. He is also survived by five nephews and a niece.
