He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Russell Rutt, Judy Rutt and Kennie Cook. He is survived by: his parents, Danny Cook (Joyce) of Ypsilanti and Gena Cook (Durgan) of Wayne; his wife Megan K. Comiskey; his son Damon "Kennie" Cook of Ann Arbor; his parents-in-law, Becky Gaynor (Rick Risner) of Grass Lake and David Comiskey of South Lyon; his grandmother Mary Tweedy of Alabama; his siblings, Danielle Gilbertson (Eric) of Ypsilanti, Katelyn Cook of Ypsilanti, Desmond Jones of Ypsilanti, Desiree Jones of Ypsilanti, Brooke Jones of Ypsilanti, Ryan Burton of Ypsilanti, Nicole Lehman of Ypsilanti and Keith Lehman of Ypsilanti; and his nephews, Ethan and Nolan Gilbertson. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Gathering of Friends and Family will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at the Portage Lake-Ready County Park, 6990 Portage Lake Road, Waterloo Twp., from 1-3 p.m. with a short prayer service to be held at 3:00 p.m. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution in honor of Patrick may do so to an Educational Fund for Kennie.
