It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Slane of Grass Lake, Michigan, born in Jackson, Michigan, who passed away on August 5, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Slane and Alberta Slane (Ball); his brothers, Robert and Richard Ball; his brother-in-law John Goebel; his nephew Robert Ball, Jr.; and his great-nephew Matthew McCormick.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Bohenna; his sons, Ken and Ryan; his grandchild Keira of Chelsea; his siblings, Chuck Slane of Munith, Rose Goebel (Sis) of Williamsville, MO and Mary Gaken of Chelsea; his siblings-in-law, Betty, Alton Howard of Nashville, TN, Margaret Ball and Sandy Ball Jenkins; and his nieces and nephews, Karen Howard (Mark Groll), Betsy Ball (Tony Brown), Shawn Mikkelson (Bill), Billy Ball (Sarah), Robert Gimmey (Juan), Michael Ball (Kelly), Michelle Baisden (Tom), J. C. Goebel (Jessie), Renee Luke, Matt Gaken (Nikki), Lindsay Gaken and Eileen Ball.
